Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back the start of a new term! Happy New Year to you all! We are about to start our new topic ‘People who help us’. We will be focusing on different jobs including the fire and police service. Next week we will be looking at Postmen/women! If you have any interesting stamps at home please send them in. As part of the topic we hope to have some visitors come and talk to the children about the jobs they do to help us. If yourselves or someone you know is a nurse, vet, paramedic, hairdresser, builder etc. and would be willing to come in and talk to the children about what they do please let us know.
Parent helpers welcome! If you would be prepared to come into school to help hear the children read, we would very much appreciate it! Please speak to one of us (you will need to be CRB checked by the school via the office).
Is anyone available next Friday afternoon (13th Jan) to help walk the children to the post box? Please see us if you are.
A few other notes....
· Reading books. Please could you make a comment in your child’s book when hearing them read. · Please could we have all PE kits back in school.
