Wednesday 5th March

Hello again! Another very busy day today - filled with activities! The children have just come back from their evening activity which was very popular, judging by the excitement on their faces.

Today some children were very pleased to receive letters from home in the post.

Above left: The girls trying out their new 'gloves' (socks) to keep their hands warm - it is extremely cold and we are all wearing LOADS of layers each day!

Above centre: One of the groups with their shelter in the woods - created in 1 hour 15 minutes and with absolutely superb organisation and innovation from the children. The instructor was so impressed that he had it photographed for the PGL magazine! Well done guys!

Above right: Another group with their shelter - brilliantly camouflaged (it's behind them, in case you can't see it!) and all group members could fit inside (including Miss Eyles!).

Above left: A group getting instructions for abseiling - so many children have faced their fears with such bravery on this challenge.

Above centre: Another group with their massive shelter.

Above right: 'B laying' for the 'Jacob's ladder' challenge - an important job, keeping the ropes tight for those climbing Jacob's ladder.

That's all for now folks - more tomorrow!
