Uniform

We have a uniform that is smart, flexible and practical and we encourage all pupils to wear the uniform in order to promote a sense of belonging. We encourage parents to dress their children in school uniform.

Our school's uniform

 

School colours = White shirts and Navy sweatshirts

  • *Navy sweatshirts;
  • *Navy cardigans;
  • *White polo shirts;
  • Iron-on School logo badge (if you wanted to iron on to a non-logoed item above);
  • Grey/Black trousers;
  • Grey/Black skirt or pinafore dress;
  • Grey/Black shorts;
  • Blue gingham dress (small check);
  • Navy sun cap;
  • White/Navy/Grey socks or tights;
  • *Fleece Jacket;
  • The children should wear smart suitable Navy/Black footwear (not trainers);
  • Wellington Boots for Foundation Stage children;
  • *School Book Bag.

P.E. Uniform

  • #Navy logoed T-shirt - required branded item:
  • *Navy shorts;
  • *Navy tracksuit bottoms;
  • #Navy logoed  quarter zip sports top - required branded item;
  • Trainers;
  • One piece swimming costume/trunks or swimming shorts;
  • Towel/hat (You will be notified when required for swimming).

Expectations for:

  • JEWELLERY

One pair of earrings are permitted provided they are plain silver/golf round ball studs and must be removed or taped over by the child before P.E. lessons. Parents should supply tape for this purpose.

  • HAIR

We ask that all hair accessories should be unobtrusive and reflect school colours blue, white, grey or black. Hairbands should not be gimmicky in nature. Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back.

  • BAGS

Due to limited cloakroom space, we do ask school bags are not too large.

Where to purchase or acquire school uniform

  • Branded uniform - this is available from 'Jule at Home'. You can visit their store (4 South View Roade, NN7 2NS), buy online https://julesathome.co.uk/collections/harpole or ring on 01604 862019. We also have occasional pop-up shops at school (dates are communication via the school office).
  • Non-branded uniform - this can be sourced from high-street retailers.
  • Iron-on School Logo Badge for non-branded uniform - these can be purchased from school via ParentMail at a cost of 77p each
  • Second-hand uniform - this can be purchased from 'Friends of Harpole Primary School' (FOHS) organisation, online https://friendsofharpole.sumupstore.com/ or by contacting one of the committee members. Alternatively, you can contact the school office who will be able to advise.
